Picture shows Chris Holland age 26 who is a black belt 3rd Dan from Cupar and who is assistant Instructor to James ford 6th Dan at Shotokan2000 Karate club in Cupar YMCA on Mondays 6.30 to 7.30 and Friday night at the same times. Chris recently travailed to Wishaw Sports Centre Glasgow to take part in the Scottish karate grand prix Championships which is the first of 4 held throughout the year Chris entered the over 18 heavy weight section the hardest advent as it is all big fit guys Chris done well on the day getting through and clamming a bronze medal only to be stopped with the guy that went on to win the tournament Chris who past his 3rd Dan last year has set his sights on Competition this year and has got of to a brilliant start this the first one in 2012 Chris trains 4 days a week and is now looking to enter one of the biggest Competition of the year the British International open in April Instructor James ford said Chris has brilliant ability for a big lad and sees big things for Chris as we go on in the year.
