1st Dan Black Belt Ju,Jitsu

Chris has been studying Shotokan Karate under the instruction of Sensei James Ford since the age of 7, achieving 1st Dan Black Belt at 12 years old in November 1998. His dedicated training schedule led him to achieving his 2nd Dan Black Belt in April 2005 and passing his 3rd Dan in December 2010. Throughout the years, Chris has competed and won medals in several competitions around the country, both in Kata and Kumite. Currently the assistant instructor to James Ford at the association's Cupar club, Chris is bringing his 19 years karate experience to students in Perth. Classes will start from Thursday 28 June 2012, continuing every Thursday and Saturday thereafter.

Chris was awarded his 4th Dan by the technical committee of SK2000 in March 2015

Chris was awarded his 5th Dan by the technical committee of SK2000 in December 2022
