5th Dan Black Belt

Gordon began training in 1978 at the newly formed Cowdenbeath Karate Club, then affiliated to the Scottish Budokan Association and closely linked to the JKA. Gordon achieved his first Dan in 1984 and took over the running of the club in 1989. Gordon has a keen interest in Sport Karate and in 1991 was a member of the Scottish Karate team who competed in the Eurpoean Championships in Finland. 1992 saw Gordon receive his 2nd Dan under Sensei Eneoda 8th Dan.

Gordon was awarded his 5th Dan by James Ford (Chief Instructor for the Assosiation) on 11th June 2017
